About the Summit

We exist to help Corporate Strategy leaders gain confidence in leading the strategy function, build community with peers facing similar challenges, and expand career opportunities in an ever-evolving business landscape.

Mission

The Corporate Strategy Summit was founded by Stephen Reiff, the former head of Corporate Strategy for a global financial services company. Stephen built the Corporate Strategy function from the ground up, having started his career as a Corporate Strategy analyst for a defense contractor before attending business school and working in consulting.

Throughout his career, he noticed a recurring challenge:

“MBA programs and management consulting firms are phenomenal at teaching ‘strategy,’ but there are limited resources on how to actually lead a strategy function. As I led Corporate Strategy, I frequently wondered, ‘What else should I be doing?’ In conversations with other strategy leaders, I realized I wasn’t alone—many of us were asking the same question and striving to build a best-in-class strategy function.”

Recognizing the need for a dedicated space where Corporate Strategy leaders could learn from one another, Stephen created the Corporate Strategy Summit — a community where leaders can exchange ideas, build confidence, and gain the insights they need to lead with clarity.

“My hope is that this Summit eliminates that persistent question for strategy leaders. Participants should leave not just with new ideas, but with renewed confidence and friendships that will support them throughout their careers.”

Origin story

The Location

Hotel Drover, located in the Fort Worth Stockyards, offers a blend of Western charm and modern luxury. It features almost 40,000 square feet of event space and curated guest experiences with unique in-room amenities. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, bars, Western retail shops, and attractions, including live entertainment venues like Billy Bob’s and Cowtown Coliseum.
